Friday, March 02, 2018, 7:00 PM - Saturday, March 03, 2018, 2:30 PM
Location: Harvest Bible Chapel - Davenport (Main Campus), 3800 E. 53rd Street, Davenport, IA US 52807
The Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, isn’t just for unbelievers. Christian women are plagued by fear, depression, shame, bitterness, feelings of inadequacy, anger, sexual sin, eating disorders, grief and relational strife…just to name a few. Too often we struggle in silence...alone, too afraid, too ashamed, too tired or too prideful to admit what's really going on inside of us. That's exactly where the enemy of our souls wants us--isolated from those who can help bear our burdens and from the One who can free us. We've bought the lie that we are alone in this fight. The Gospel tells us differently. We have a Great Savior for our need. We aren't meant to tackle these things on our own. Freedom is not found in silence and isolation but in repentance and dependence on Christ and His community.
This Spring Retreat will be a safe place; a place where we can freely admit our faults, failures and trials. If you aren't in the midst of a struggle, then come to learn how to support someone who is. Hear testimonies from our Harvest Women's Teaching team as they share their own struggles and how God is bringing healing and freedom to their lives. Come and find hope because no realm of our lives goes untouched by the Gospel.
